INLUCESCO.COM was registered in July 2005 as a domain to contain my digital art, photography, writing, and whatever else I might deem vaguely amusing to put up. It changes.
What does "inlucesco" mean? The official definition of "inlucesco" is "haha, you can't speak Latin." Or it could mean "to begin to dawn or shine."
All code on is my own doin'. I used Photoshop for the graphics, a brush from Brusheezy, and Araneae (which I highly, highly recommend) to hand-code everything. The font is "Satisfaction." This version (to begin to dawn or shine) launched 01/18/11.
If you want to see the previous incarnations of this site, they're all here.
I'm an attorney who specializes in Criminal Law and Litigation. That means I know enough to tell you when the courtroom scenes in Law & Order are way off the mark. I call San Francisco my home and the constant source of my adventures. In my former life, I was a history major that studied medieval resurrection symbolism, execution, torture, and medieval female anorectic saints. To say I'm a bit of a nerd would be an understatement - I would most like to meet Michel Foucault in the afterlife so I can yell at him for never using paragraph breaks. I'm an amateur cook and love to test out new recipes on my willing friends/fatten them up for my nefarious plans.
I like optimism, photography, tarot, astrology, reading, beer, vintage barbies, cooking, bargain shopping, research, diamonds, concerts, martinis, medieval and renaissance art, moonstone, makeup, sunshine, the ocean, fooling around with photoshop, randomly wearing tiaras, bright colors, and making lame law/history jokes.
I am a Scorpio, an Enneagram type One (Two wing, The Advocate), an INFJ, and a Chinese Water Pig. The Queen of Swords tarot card is my significator (that is, the card that best describes my personality). And this is what I look like.
